Clarins Rouge Eclat in Passion Red is one of those rare reds that has some blue in the undertone, but still looks warm on the lip. There used to be so much fuss about finding the right red – to my mind this is a no-mistake red, with a gorgeous sheen on the finish that’s very flattering. It’s a perfect holiday red because it needs just a hit of a tan to warm the skin and make it a summer statement. Dior Fluidsticks are a lipstick/gloss/stain hybrid – they actually feel a little bit cool on the lip when you first apply, and the colour is beautifully buildable, so you can have full on shine or a more gentle sheen, depending upon how much you want to build the colours. I couldn’t choose between my two favourites, so here we have Adventure and Pandore, both in the coral spectrum but Pandore has more of a wow impact. Super tempted by one of the Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip colours, I don’t do bright bold colours, but a sheer treat might be on the cards!
